Owls and bunting? It's a match made in heaven! Find out how easy it is to make this cheery card...

What you need...
  • Stamps, 'Sweet Owl', Hero Arts
Papers, 6” x 6”, 'Spotted Owl Soup', Jillibean Soup
Card, Bazzil: yellow, lime green, blue, orange
    Ink-pad, bright blue
    Scissors, scallop-edged
    Crop-A-Dile
    Eyelets
    String, cream
    Ribbon
Pens, ProMarkers: yellow, bright green, leaf green, brown, blue
instructions
  1. Start with white card, 15cm x 20.5cm. Stick bright yellow card, 6.5cm x 14.5cm to a sheet of the pale blue 'birthday' paper, 13.5cm x 14.5cm. Add a strip of green card to the join, use scallop-edged
scissors on one side. Cut out seven triangles from various sheets of patterned paper from the pack. Each needs to be 2.5cm at the top, down to a length of 6.5cm.

  2. Rub a blue ink-pad around each triangle and also run it around the outer-edge of the yellow and blue blank. String these triangles onto the cream string by wrapping 1cm of the top of each around the length. Add two eyelets to the panel, as shown, and feed the string through. Add this completed base design onto the card blank.

  3. Cut out an assortment of six owls from the pattered paper in the pack and add them to the top of the stringed bunting. Glue a gem (included in the stamps pack) to each one. Cut out the blue sentiment
strip which can be found on one of the papers. Matt this onto yellow, green and blue card. Fix towards the bottom, as shown.
